The getting-started guide lives right inside the dashboard: every step of the workflow, with your site language already detected.

Built the way WordPress actually works

No proxy, no iframe, no content served from somewhere else. Your translations are real posts, in your database, under your control.

Dedicated URLs per language

Each translation lives at /en/, /es/ or wherever you want. Shareable, indexable, cacheable.

Automatic hreflang

hreflang tags are generated and maintained on their own. Google always knows which version to show whom.

Floating switcher included

A discreet, customizable switcher, ready on the front end. Position, colors and labels are all configurable.

Full control per post

Every translation is an editable post. Change the title, slug, image and SEO for each language independently.

Menus per language

Point a navigation menu at each language. Parly swaps them automatically based on the page the visitor is viewing.

Translatable theme texts

Headers, buttons and footers hardcoded in the theme? Register the text and its translation — Parly swaps it in the HTML, no theme edits.

AI-powered bulk translation

Export everything to a JSON, translate it with Claude or ChatGPT and import it back. Pages and theme texts created in one pass.

No lock-in

Deactivated the plugin? Your translations stay put as regular posts. Your content is never held hostage.

Every language, with its flag, code and default page

Register as many languages as you want in one simple table. A name, the ISO code used for hreflang and browser detection, and an optional flag one click away.

  • ISO code (en, es, pt-br) that feeds hreflang and automatic detection
  • Default language flagged — the one your content is already written in
  • Built-in flag picker, no hunting for emoji elsewhere

Translating without SEO is throwing traffic away. Here, every language ranks.

Solutions that translate via JavaScript hide your content from Google. Parly publishes real pages that search engines read, index and rank.

  • Real static pages per language — nothing rendered only in the browser
  • Correct hreflang and canonical tags on every version
  • Translatable slugs: /services/ can become /servicios/
  • Compatible with sitemaps and SEO plugins

The text that page translation can't reach

Headers, footers and buttons often live in the theme, outside your content. Parly scans the page, lists those texts and replaces each one with its translation in the rendered HTML — without touching a single theme file.

  • Scan a URL and list the texts coming from the theme, widgets and menus
  • One translation per language, applied automatically on the right page
  • Never touches URLs, HTML attributes or scripts

Translate the whole site in one pass, with AI

Export pages, posts and theme texts to a JSON with embedded instructions, hand it to an AI like Claude or ChatGPT, and import the translated file back. Pages and theme texts are created or updated at once, as drafts for you to review.

  • Filters only what hasn't been translated into the target language yet
  • Built-in prompt keeps shortcodes and page builders intact
  • Imports in batches — ideal so you don't overload the AI on big sites

Frequently asked questions

Does Parly translate automatically, or do I have to translate everything myself?

Both. It generates a first version automatically so you don't start from scratch, and every translation stays editable like a normal post — you review and refine whatever you want.

Will this slow my site down?

No. Translations are real pages served by WordPress itself, with no proxy and no external scripts. Whatever already works with your cache and CDN keeps working.

Does it work with WooCommerce and page builders?

Yes. Because Parly works at the level of WordPress posts and pages, products, Elementor pages and Gutenberg blocks are duplicated and translated the same way.

What happens if I uninstall the plugin?

Nothing dramatic. Your translations are ordinary posts in your database and stay published. There's no lock-in and no content hosted outside your site.

Why "Parly"?

Parly comes from Parlyaree — the language spoken in British circuses and theatres, derived from the Italian parlare, to speak. A way of its own to communicate across worlds. It felt right to name a plugin that makes your site speak to all of them after it.

The whole world in the audience.
